the it' fair

The it fair has always been scary to me (the crowds will just kill you especially if you're short).. traumatizing, crazy fun.. I usually try to get what I want quick and get out.. lest I have nothing better to do with my time (like last year, when I was bumming around for a couple of months), I'll mosh around with the crowds inside..

It's also scary cause you get attacked by 'flyer' people who will show no mercy.. I found the best counter to be putting your hands in your pockets.. Then there are also the sales people who talk really fast and pressure you a whole lot when you just want to take a look at what's new.. (and when you finally decide to buy something, they're nowhere to be found)

now if only I was a foot taller (I'd settle for even half a foot taller).. I imagine I'd be seeing the back of people's heads less and more exciting things all around. like the hot sales girl or the cute girl seemingly lost in the crowds, both of which I couldn't catch due to my averagely short height.

Not to say that I returned home empty handed this year, cause I bought a 32 inch sony tv.. and got a free psp lite too.. not a bad deal.. Don't think I'll be returning, though it's tempting.. I didn't really get a chance to really explore and marvel at all the cool gadgets.. this happens every time cause I get to lazy to fight my way through the crowds (or get too distracted), oh well I'll just wait for the review in the papers..
